During the month of March, Mayor Jan Barham ran a course at the Byron Adult and Community Education College on "How to become a Councillor".
With the local government elections coming up in September, this provided an opportunity for members of the community to gain an understanding of the role and responsibilities of being a councillor. Jan has kindly provided the course material for people to download and is available here.
