Nicole Gallagher’s performance of ‘Flashdance’ took second place and $50 prize. “Thanks to the generosity of McGregor’s Amusements and the Brunswick business community, every performer received a small gift” said Mr. Ebono. “Marauding gangs of drunken teenagers were noticeably absent in Brunswick Heads this year” according to event organiser, Michele Grant. “Overall the kids were very well behaved and very entertaining.” “We had a really festive, fun time marooned in the Housie Shed on New Years eve with over 100 happy, partying teenagers, thanks to a great team of volunteers, and the generous support of virtually every business in Brunswick Heads, in particular Trish & Terry McCulloch at Hotel Brunswick, Glen & Warren from McGregor’s Amusements and Craig Reid at Bruns Surf Life Saving Club.” |
