Join the Greens and Make a Difference

In the run-up to the 2008 local government elections, the Byron Ballina Greens are seeking to encourage participation by the community through membership in the Greens.

Byron Ballina Greens is a grass roots organisation, which means that all members can have a say in the direction of debate, and the formulation of policy in local, state, and federal government. We offer members, a friendly and supportive environment, in which  to participate more actively in the decision making processes of the local community.

The Byron Ballina Greens are affiliated with New South Wales, Australian and Global Greens, which means members can participate at  State, National, and International Forums. The BBG also provides a fun, social environment,  opportunities for participating at meetings, community activism, fundraising, event management,  public speaking and participating in the electoral process. (eg election day volunteering, being a candidate etc.)
