A motor rally is planned to roar through The Tweed from Kingscliff to Murwillumbah, Uki,
Kyogle and beyond on 3-6 September. It also involves a race around the streets of Murwillumbah, along rural roads, through villages and into national Parks. Incredibly the NSW Government has approved the rally, and passed special legislation overriding environmental legislation, the Local government Act, and the Road Safety Act. A group in Tweed are organising protests. Further information can be found at
