Jeremy Buckingham Elected to Legislative Council
Jeremy Buckingham

Congratulations to Jeremy Buckingham for being elected to the NSW upper house. Jeremy won out after a close contest with Pauline Hanson for the last upper house seat.

Congratulations also to Jan Barham and David Shoebridge. The Greens now have five members in the NSW upper house and one, Jamie Parker, in the lower house.

Congratulations to Jan Barham a Win for Rural Representation

Jan Barham long serving Byron Shire mayor,  continues the representation of the North coast  in the upper house, succeeding Ian Cohen who retired at this election. Both Jan Barham and Jeremy Buckingham, an Orange City councillor, will be in a strong position to promote the importance of rural issues, such as food security, the preservation of farming land and the environment.
